Software

Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical is studied for professionals in the manufacturing sector. By exploiting the features of Autodesk AutoCAD, enhanced with other features such as the complete bookshop of standard mechanical parts, it is possible to increase productivity, create detailed mechanical drawings and simplify the project documents.

Autocad is the best known software in the world and also one of the most versatile, as AutoCAD developed projects are easily integrated into the BIM (Building Information Modelling) workflow and Digital Prototyping.
It creates winning 2D and 3D projects using reliable tools that can produce virtually any imaginable shape.

CAD 3D Inventor® software provides professional tools for mechanical design, documentation and development of 3D products. Furthermore, it enables developing, managing and exceptional products thanks to the Digital Prototyping functions.

Tekla Structures provides BIM design environment, which allows sharing data between contractors, structural engineers, builders, designers and building component manufacturers in both the steel and reinforced concrete industries.
The as built 3D model is produced and shared using Tekla software that provides the highest possible controls of the building and production feasibility. Centralizing production data in the model is the base for improved cooperation addressed to integrated project management. The outcome is increased productivity, reduced waste and improved building environmental sustainability.

MasterSap is a finite element structural analysis program, intended in particular for Civil Engineering applications, for some time now in compliance with DM 14/01/2008 (NTC 2008) and Eurocodes, and with the ability to perform static and seismic analysis according to the previous regulations.
After performing the structural analysis, MASTERSAP dimensions works in reinforced concrete, metal, wood, and masonry. It also provides the verification of steel joints. Special procedures, purchased individually, carry out any checks in question: MasterArm, MasterVer, MasterNodo.
In addition to national regulations (NTC 2008, OPCM 3274/03 and 3431/05, DM 1996) the international ones are also available, including EC2, EC3, EC5, EC6 and EC8.

Straus7 implements a “classic” formulation of the finite element method, for both linear and non-linear applications (for geometry, material and boundary conditions), with regard the analysis of the static response (including balance stability problems), dynamic response (general and seismic), and thermos-mechanical both in stationary and transient conditions. The library of finite elements – and related models for materials and constitutive laws – is particularly extensive and comprehensive.

The MIDAS calculation program is the general purpose software, which fully resolves all the problems of analysis and design of any type of structure, from the most complex to the simplest in seismic and non-seismic zones (multi-storey buildings, industrial builders, towers, pylons, silos, any type of foundation, complete ground structure interaction, bridges, road infrastructures, masonry buildings) using any type of material. The finite element library is extensive and includes variable section beams, trusses resistant to just traction and/or just compression, wall elements for earthquake resistant walls, plates, solids, plane stress, plane strain, stiffened orthotropic plates, etc.
